After the earthquake, the Hefei Emergency Association actively followed the disaster situation, learned about the disaster area through various channels, closely monitored the progress of rescue efforts, and many member companies expressed their willingness to provide necessary support and assistance to the disaster area.

At 4:20 pm on January 9th, the Municipal Emergency Association received a request letter from the office of a member of the Political Consultative Conference in Shigatse City to build and install temporary board houses for disaster victims. After obtaining approval from the Emergency Management Bureau of Hefei City, the association organized member units Anhui Zeyu Color Steel Structure Co., Ltd. and Anhui Guangshan Public Welfare Service Center to respond and actively coordinate transportation, loading and unloading work in a timely manner. Anhui Zeyu assisted in the construction of a batch of foldable mobile box houses, which are convenient to transport and quickly built, and are very suitable for use in disaster areas. On the evening of the 9th, 20 sets of foldable mobile box houses that can accommodate 200 people were loaded onto trucks. On January 10th, the Hefei Emergency Association departed from Lhasa at 9am.
