Building Hope Together, Zeyu Housing Aid in Shigatse Earthquake stricken Area, Hefei, Anhui Province

At 9:05 on January 7, a magnitude 6.8 earthquake occurred in Dingri County, Shigatse City, Xizang. After the earthquake, the Hefei Emergency Association actively followed the disaster situation, learned about the disaster area through various channels, closely monitored the progress of rescue efforts, and many member companies extended their assistance to provide timely support and assistance to the disaster area.

At 4:20 pm on January 9th, the Hefei Emergency Association received a request letter from the office of the Shigatse Municipal Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference to build and install temporary board houses for disaster victims. After obtaining approval from the Emergency Management Bureau of Hefei City, the association organized member units Anhui Zeyu Color Steel Structure Co., Ltd. and Anhui Guangshan Public Welfare Service Center to respond and actively coordinate transportation, loading and unloading work in a timely manner. Anhui Zeyu assisted in the construction of a batch of foldable mobile box houses, which are convenient to transport and quickly built, and are very suitable for use in disaster areas. On the evening of the 9th, 20 sets of foldable mobile box houses that can accommodate 200 people have been loaded onto vehicles.
